Preface
Originally posted in March 2024, this post was initially a product of exploring chaos to prepare for delivering a presentation on complex adaptive systems at the Colorado Emergency Management Conference. Quickly, it connected with experiences fighting fire in the Wildland-Urban Interface on the Big Bear Hotshots and turned into the idea of deep chaos presented here. This marked the beginning of a new style of writing for GregoryVig and the use of music to amplify further the emotions already channeled into each post.
